Over the last 11 years or so of being on the net I have acquired a substantial amount of interesting material - much of it in the form of poetry, prose, and humor. Not wanting to deny you of anything I have included links to some of the various and sundry items I have hoarded away. Just think - all of this waiting for such a glorious occasion such as this to share it with you! (I knew you would be here sooner or later) Hmm, the first of my collection is a group of poems by a poet I met on irc who was known as j8a.

Some of the other files that I have collected are by well known authors. Although this fact does not this does not assure quality in all cases I found these particular pieces entertaining and insightful. Any a writer who can combine werewolves and motorcycling is cool in my book - this excerpt is one of the most descriptive and exhilarating I have ever read.

I suppose no page is complete without the standard link to other cool pages and these Steven Wright jokes seemed worth the link. I have also spent a great deal of time searching the net for the home pages of the bands that I like. One of the most entertaining bands I have ever heard is Bare Naked Ladies . I heard this band for the first time when I was visiting a friend of mine in Buffalo, NY.

When I was thinking about what I wanted to have on my home page the first thought I had was to include a list of my top ten's. The lists are not that complete and I will be adding more to it as time passes.

Fable's Vampire Stories

Since you have made it this far I thought I would offer up the two short stories which can be viewed by all audiences. The first was written sometime late in my college career and the second while I was living in Albany. The first, Mortal Love, has been thoroughly psychoanalyzed by many people who have read it. Some have claim that it is a reflection of my fear of death or an expression of my pain at the loss (perhaps not through death) of someone I loved. If you think you know why (I don't) I wrote what I wrote please enlighten me.

The second, The Search, was written partially because people would often ask me what happened to the character from the first story. I am looking for input on either of these so please feel free to mail me.

Bored and need something to distract you for a few minutes?
Then take a look at these tasty items:

I have put together a page of tail trivia facts. If you did not already know I have a tail (no, not that kind - the single braid of hair kind) and I often get asked various questions regarding it. Take a look at the page for some of the answers to those burning questions.

If you are tired of the intellectual stuff you have been reading (yeah, right) take a look at this whimsical list of things to do when you are bored.

Anyway - while reading the news one day I found this odd quote:

"If it's unnatural, weird and maybe offensive to do this with sheep, it's orders of magnitude weirder to do it with humans." -- ED BERGER, a biologist and ethicist at Dartmouth College, on the prospect of cloning people.

Certainly makes you realize the importance of context?
