john is me amore. He is the most amazing man I have EVER met. For over a year and a half I repeated my claim that I would NEVER date john - my reasons being stupid til finally I could not deny how I felt. John is 9 years older than I am and totally has his act together. He knows who he is and what he wants from life. He is quite good looking (blue eyes, nice build, great smile), intelligent and very out-going! He skydives, scuba dives, camps, hikes and is willing to try anything at least once. This includes me trying to set him up. I could babble tons about how wonderful john is and how happy he makes me but I would hate to sound like a romance novel. Lets just say he completes me like no other.

nicole is this amazing fem from texas who works at Cisco with us. Since she has moved I have had a great time hanging out with her. She has gone with us to movie nights, dinners, and the ren faire. I am totally delighted to have met her and hope we can continue to have a great time!

mice is one of the cool people at work. He has a cool web page - you should go and take a look at it.

Kim is one of the most fun and interesting people I have ever met. I have spent many fun hours hanging out with Kim and her hubby David! Luckily, they like to do the kinds of things that we like (READ: NOT BOWLING). I am quite sure that I have babbled about Kim and David elsewhere but I realized they might have felt left out not being on the friends page.

David (see also Kim) Since I last wrote about David we have not really played and AD&D but we have done lots of other stuff like movies but I think I would like to swing back a bit to the AD&D. David is interested in stereos (that seems to be a common thread among the men I currently hang out with), martial arts and actually he is interested in most things! Kim and David moved to Oregon and are living up there now. It is sad because I miss them and don't get to see them very often.

jon He works for Foundry but we like him anyway. Jon has hooked up with Tara and they are talking about getting married and having kids. He is smart and good looking. Like justin, jon is a pilot and loves to fly. p> tom is/was my muse or I was his. His poetry is divine and he is prolly the most creative person I know. He has written his own books and will be famous one day.

xney - is a tall, blonde, network genius who used to work at Best Internet. He is now starting his own company. He originally helped me move out to California and land my job at Best. After years of seperation Karl and I have started hanging out again - he has gotten me hooked on anime. "the first hit is free" He is one of the most interesting people I have met. When my mother was having her open heart surgery Karl was the person who gave me the most solace. I was feeling guilty for going out to the movies with my sister and having a good time. Karl told me that everyone deserves a little happiness. I cannot count the number of times I have repeated that to myself over the last few months.

flashman - is a tall (although shorter than xney), blonde, network genius - co-owner of the Quadrunner hotel. He also works at the same company I do - which I like cause I can swing by his cube and talk to someone about non-work stuff. It is also nice cause if I have a networking problem which I need looked at right away - I can ask him (as long as I do not abuse the privilege) and he can help me out.

patrick - is a British sysadmin who I hang out with. He is frustrating and delightful at the same time. Arg - impossible is the first word that comes to mind but he is the best friend anyone could ask for..

dave kensiski - is the father of four children and a great guy. He is just one of those people that everyone likes. And dave, I put your last name to separate you from all those other Daves. (and I even corrected the spelling)

beaker I think I meet beaker though the owner of Albany.net but I am not sure. He is one of the nicest and smartest business people I know. He will probably be very successful one day. He took me on a trip to Portland Oregon to go to his company's Christmas dinner. It was a great time and most people would have made 'advances' but he was a perfect gentleman. cool.

james - ah this is actually difficult to write. I dated james my last year in high school and he taught me more in the few months we were together than I managed to learn most the rest of my life. I blame him for developing my ability to laugh at myself and to take life with a grain of salt. It is difficult to write this because of the state he seems to be in now - still in Potsdam - working in the food service industry - which sure, someone has to do, but he is so smart - it seems like a waste. Ah, well I guess you cannot save the world.

alan was my sweety in college. We had a great time hanging out with Bill and Dana playing AD&D. Alan has returned from the wild beyond and we may be starting up our online game again. Oh, I have pictures!

beej was my best friend in high school who I have recently received email from. She went away to college and we drifted apart. Now she is back in the North country and she has a baby - something I cannot relate to that well. Hopefully we can find some common ground again. Sarah and Andy I met Sarah though Jon - they had met via online dating. They both realized that was not going to work but they have maintained their firendship and we met Sarah and liked her too! Andy met Sarah at a party and they hit it off and have been dating for a couple years! They are talking of getting married. Andy is my co-DM of my long running D&D game.
